The great thing about North Florida's freshwater springs is that that even if the ocean is a mess, waves, bad weather- murky water, the springs are usually crystal clear! They are also deep enough at 60Ft + to do all of your open water dives. So if you book a trip and the weather turns foul, you can almost always still get your Diver Certification! Morrison spring produces 48 million gallons per day of crystal clear freshwater. These springs are truly magnificent and are one of the best locations in Florida for scuba diving lessons.

As Scuba Instructors, we teach all sorts of people to dive, from special forces operators to families with kids as young as 10. One of the most satisfying parts of my job is seeing the sheer joy and excitement on a young persons face who has just learned how to scuba dive. Ages 10-13 receive the Junior Open Water Diver Certification and I dont think any age group enjoys diving more than this bunch. During dive training we witness a transformation as students go from nervous or unsure to confident and enthusiastic. One phrase I hear over and over is " this is the best day ever!" Scuba diving also gives parents and children an awesome way to spend time together and share incredible experiences. The best dives are always with people that you love. So get the whole family certified!
