It all starts here. The PADI Open Water Diver Course is your passport to the undersea world. This is a fun course! You will learn the necessary skills to become a safe and knowledgeable diver with the ability to solve and prevent problems. We'll teach you the basics and a little more, with a few tips and tricks that we've picked up from our diving adventures. Expert instruction builds a solid foundation and with proper training, recreational diving is incredibly fun and safe. However, this scuba course should be viewed as survival training and choosing the right instructor is extremely important. Students work directly with Instructors Daniel & Mary Valentine and we have diverse experience, having trained everyone from  special forces operators to families with young children.  Intuitive and adaptive, we tailor our approach to the individual needs of our students. One size does not fit all and that's what keeps our job interesting! Upon completion of this course you will be issued a diver ID card and be able to rent scuba gear and dive independently without supervision. The maximum recreational depth for adults is 130ft. In this class we will reach depths of 60 ft. Lifetime certification. Private classes are available. Our schedule can be very flexible, call us!

FOR THE 2 DAY COURSE DIVERS MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

• READ SCUBA TEXTBOOK OR ONLINE STUDY BEFORE CLASS
• BE COMFORTABLE IN THE WATER

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases: 
-Online Study or textbook to understand the basic's of scuba diving
-Training Dives to learn basic scuba skills
-4 Open Water Dives to review your skills and explore!

WRECK DIVING
Exploring an underwater shipwreck can be one of the most exhilarating experiences in scuba diving.
Whether sunk on purpose as an artificial reef or the result of mishap, wrecks open fascinating windows to the past. Most divers find wrecked ships, airplanes and even automobiles nearly irresistible because they’re intriguing to explore, exciting avenues of discovery, and usually teeming with aquatic life. The PADI Wreck Diver course teaches you the ins and outs of rewarding, responsible wreck diving.

What You Learn

• Techniques for diving exploring shipwrecks, and how to avoid common hazards
• How to research and learn the background of your favorite wrecks
• Wreck scuba diving equipment considerations
• Considerations and techniques for entering intact wrecks
• Experience in planning, organizing and making at least four wreck dives under the supervision of your PADI Instructor

SIDEMOUNT DIVER

 This is one of the most awesome ways to dive and has to be experienced first hand to truly realize how cool this setup is. Everyone who tries sidemount loves it, some never even go back to traditional back-mounted cylinders. With Sidemount you are so streamlined in the water that you can actually swim faster and use less air with 2 sidemount cylinders than you do with one back mount cylinder. Find a new and different way to configure your cylinders with the PADI Sidemount Diver course. Sidemount diving offers: 

• an alternative way to streamline in the water 
• easier equipment transportation when topside 
• reduced lower back strain  
• provides redundant gas supply 
• ability to monitor all equipment because it’s in front of you 
• increased gas supply for longer dives

Because you are able to move the cylinder from your back to your side, it instantly takes the pressure off of your back and gives you more flexibility to move and enjoy your dive.  Plus, you don’t have to walk to the dive site with the cylinders on your back. You can enter the water and clip them on and go.
